Colombo, Oct. 16 (Daily Mirror) - Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena today issued an order preventing Ulapane Sumangala Thera and 54 others from remaining within the premises of the Presidential Secretariat.
The order was issued after Buddhist monks and their supporters, participating in the “Justice for the Robe – National Pledge Offering and Freedom March,” organised under the leadership of the Maha Sangha to demand the release of Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, continued to occupy the road in front of the Presidential Secretariat as of this morning (16).
