AMD has teamed up with Maingear to give away a custom gaming PC inspired by Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The giveaway celebrates the game's success, having welcomed over 12 million players since its September 2024 launch. One lucky winner will receive a special-edition Maingear MG-1 gaming desktop alongside a copy of the game, while ten runners-up will receive game keys.
The giveaway, promoted by AMD Gaming on X, features a Maingear MG-1 Warhammer SM2 Edition custom PC as its grand prize. The system and accompanying game key have a combined approximate retail value of $3,417. However, AMD has not publicly detailed the exact processor, graphics card, memory or storage configuration of the giveaway system.
However, the system's estimated value is comparable to Maingear's MG-1 Diamond, which features an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB SSD. Whether the Warhammer-themed machine uses the same configuration remains unconfirmed.
There will be eleven winners in total. The grand prize includes the aforementioned gaming PC and a copy of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, while ten additional participants will each receive a game key valued at approximately $60.
The competition is open to participants aged 18 and above residing in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Australia and Canada. However, residents of Quebec, the Australian Capital Territory and South Australia are excluded. No purchase is necessary, and participants can enter through AMD's official giveaway page. Entries close on October 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
