Bahria Town Karachi (BTK) will introduce a restricted RFID-based entry and exit system from November 1, 2026, making registration cards mandatory for residents and commercial entities.
According to a management circular dated October 13, residents must present a valid Resident Information System (RIS) card at the main gate to enter free of charge. Those without a valid card will be charged the applicable entry fee each time they enter.
Commercial Information System (CIS) cardholders will also receive free entry. Business owners must ensure their employees and relevant vehicles are registered under the CIS, while anyone failing to present a valid commercial card will face entry charges.
Authorized guests of RIS cardholders can enter without paying, but residents must register their visits in advance through the RIS portal. Required information includes guest details, vehicle type, and registration number.
Other visitors will need to purchase an entry ticket at the rate applicable to their category. The circular does not specify the ticket prices.

Domestic workers, including servants and maids, must obtain RIS or CIS cards from the Security Department. Residents and commercial owners are responsible for ensuring their staff are registered and carry valid cards.
Management has asked residents to obtain their cards before November 1 to avoid delays and entry charges. Online registration is available through BTK’s official registration system.
