Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has tendered a public apology to her colleague and former associate, Laide Bakare, following her controversial interview.
She made the apology on Tuesday after she was criticised online following her reaction when Laide's name was mentioned on the Curiosity Made Me Asked podcast.
Speaking amid the backlash in a series of posts on Instagram, Eniola, who is not on good terms with Laide, bowed to pressure and tendered an apology.
While acknowledging her fault, she called for peace between them.
She wrote, "On reflection, I realise my reaction when Laide Bakare's name was mentioned during my recent interview could have come across as dismissive, and for that, I sincerely apologise.
"Laide, whatever our differences, I choose peace and I genuinely wish you well. Joo maa binu (please don't be offended) no negativity. No grudges. Let love lead and peace reigns."
