Opposition leaders from the INDIA bloc are scheduled to hold a march to the Supreme Court from Barakhamba Road in Delhi. The demonstration, announced by Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, demands the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, a halt to the special intensive revision of electoral rolls, and an end to alleged electoral malpractice. Sources indicate that the Chief Justice of India declined a meeting with the opposition delegation, noting that the issues raised are already under judicial consideration and that administrative interference is outside the court's remit. Security arrangements have been intensified across central Delhi, with entry and exit gates at six Delhi Metro stations—including Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, and Patel Chowk—closed from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Delhi Police and paramilitary forces have set up barricades and traffic diversions around Mandi House, Connaught Place, and roads leading to the Supreme Court, with section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita imposed in surrounding areas.

CJI Denies Meeting to INDIA Bloc; Metro Stations Shut Ahead of Supreme Court March
Chief Justice of India has declined a request for a meeting with leaders of the INDIA bloc, stating that the Chief Election Commissioner appointment matter is already pending before the Supreme Court and holding such an engagement would be inappropriate. The decision comes ahead of a planned march by opposition leaders from Barakhamba Road and Connaught Place towards the Supreme Court. In view of the scheduled demonstration and a counter-protest planned on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, Delhi Police have heightened security, barricaded key roads, and implemented traffic diversions across central Delhi. Entry and exit gates at six major Delhi Metro stations, including Barakhamba Road, Mandi House, Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, and Janpath, have been shut. The closures and barricading have caused disruption to commuters on Monday morning, forcing passengers to walk significant distances amid limited availability of local transport.

The protest stems from the opposition's demands regarding Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and systemic issues raised from Parliament to the streets.
Delhi Police FIR, Bangla Sahib Gurdwara Protest And AAP Controversy
Delhi Police registered a fresh First Information Report following a written complaint submitted by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. The complaint alleged that protesters affiliated with the Aam Aadmi Party forcefully entered Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, retrieved banners and posters from bags, and raised slogans inside the sacred premises. It further named party convener Arvind Kejriwal and other leaders, alleging they circulated misleading videos on social media to present a distorted version of events and harm the gurdwara's sanctity. Addressing claims regarding personnel entering with footwear, police clarified the passage led to the shoe-removal area. An investigation has been initiated into the matter.
