The Philadelphia 76ers could be down a key reserve in their season-opening matchup against the New York Knicks. Forward Dean Wade, who suffered an ankle sprain in Philly's preseason finale, is questionable Tuesday.
Pregame testing will determine whether Wade will play tonight. Wade is expected to provide length and floor spacing for the 76ers, as he's a career 36.7% 3-point shooter at 6-foot-9.
This is Wade's first season with the 76ers after seven with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He signed a four-year, $38.7 million deal with Philly this summer.
