These days, car technology is so impressive that you can unlock your car without taking out your keys and even control half the dashboard from a touchscreen
All of this feels so advanced, but yet, when you get to the toll booth, most still have to find that card to pay the toll fees.
For something that's part of almost every Malaysian driver's routine, toll payments haven't always kept its pace with the rest of the driving experience.
This is where JustGO comes in to help
That's right, toll payments are also getting an upgrade with an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system.
Instead of depending on a physical toll card or any additional devices, JustGO uses your car's licence plate as your payment identifier, giving you a seamless toll payment experience at 93 lanes along the North-South Expressway (PLUS).
With JustGO, you don't need to keep a separate toll card handy or rely on an additional toll device that needs its own battery
It also helps avoid situations where you reach the toll booth only to realise your device isn't ready when the cars behind you definitely are.
If you want to see the technology in action, JustGO will be at Jom Ronda from 15 to 18 October, where you can get a closer look at how plateless toll payments work
Plus, there's also prizes you can win by participating in the activation, including a tumbler and a t-shirt!
