Oct. 15 (Daily Mirror) - Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Republic of Guinea extended his warm congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency General Mamadi Doumbouya, President of the Republic of Guinea, and the Government and people of Guinea on the occasion of the country’s 68th Independence Anniversary, celebrated on 2 October 2026.
Ambassador Kananathan conveyed his sincere wishes for continued peace, national unity, stability and economic prosperity for the people of Guinea.
Having maintained longstanding personal ties across the African continent, Ambassador Kananathan reaffirmed his deep affection for Africa and expressed hope for stronger friendship, trade, investment and economic cooperation with Republic of Guinea.
