KAJANG: Three cars and three motorcycles were buried in a landslide along Jalan Nilam 2, here. this evening.
However, no casualties were reported, and authorities confirmed that no one was trapped inside the affected vehicles.
The landslide is believed to have occurred around 5pm, before the Hulu Langat district Civil Defence Force (APM) was alerted to the incident through social media at 6.45pm.
Following the alert, an APM team was dispatched to the scene at 7pm to assess the situation and monitor conditions in the affected area.
Personnel from the Kajang Municipal Council (MPKJ) and police also conducted inspections at the site.
According to preliminary reports, police indicated that no further action was required at this stage.
Authorities confirmed that no houses or families were affected by the landslide, while no temporary evacuation centre was activated.
Police and APM personnel continued monitoring the area to ensure public safety.
The extent of the damage and circumstances surrounding the landslide have yet to be established.
