Wisconsin Badgers vs. No. 21 Washington Huskies Game Thread: Another ranked opportunity on the schedule

Fresh off a two-win week over the Maryland Terrapins and the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the No. 21 Washington Huskies at the Field House on Friday evening. First serve is set for 8:00 p.m. on Big Ten Network.

Wisconsin started the week with a sweep over the Maryland Terrapins before beating the Iowa Hawkeyes in four sets. That improved their record to 13-5, including 7-1 in conference play.

This week, they get two matchups at home: Washington and the Michigan Wolverines, with the Huskies giving them another ranked opponent to add to an already loaded resume.

Earlier in the week, the NCAA selection committee gave their initial Top 16 seeds, and the Badgers were placed at No. 4, two spots higher than their rank in the AVCA Top 25.

After Friday’s matchup, Wisconsin has only one more game ranked in the Top 25: November 8th vs. No. 16 Penn State.
