South Korean rapper BIG Naughty has surprised fans with the announcement that he has officially married his longtime first love, the very woman who inspired some of his most beloved songs.
On October 15, his agency H1GHR MUSIC confirmed that the 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is Seo Dong Hyun, has completed his marriage registration with his non-celebrity girlfriend, making them legally husband and wife. The agency first revealed the news on October 14, confirming that the couple had officially tied the knot. However, additional details about his wife have been kept private.
What makes the announcement particularly remarkable is the couple’s history, which dates back more than a decade. BIG Naughty personally shared the news with fans through a group messaging chat on October 14, revealing that the woman he had written about in his songs “Vancouver” and “Vancouver 2” is now his wife.
“I’ve decided to spend the rest of my life with the girl who appears in so many of my songs, including ‘Vancouver’ and ‘Vancouver 2.'”
The revelation has attracted attention because BIG Naughty has spoken openly about his first love throughout his career.
In previous interviews and appearances, the rapper revealed that he had harbored feelings for someone he had known since elementary school, describing a crush that lasted for more than ten years. Even after the girl moved overseas to study, BIG Naughty reportedly continued thinking about her. Meanwhile, BIG Naughty began fulfilling his mandatory military service through alternative service as a social service worker in September 2026.
