The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, has announced the date sheet for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) second annual examinations 2026.
According to the official schedule issued on October 12, HSSC Part I and Part II written examinations will begin on November 12, 2026, and continue until December 17, 2026.
The board will conduct written examinations in the evening session from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, while candidates must report to their examination centres by 1:30 pm.
The examinations will begin with Mathematics-II and other scheduled subjects on November 12, followed by Physics-I on November 13 and English-II on November 14. The remaining papers will take place according to the subject-wise schedule issued by FBISE.
The date sheet also includes examinations for students following different schemes of study, along with practical-based assessments for relevant subjects.
FBISE has scheduled practical examinations from December 21, 2026, for subjects other than those covered by Practical Based Assessments (PBA). The board has included separate PBA dates in the written examination schedule.
For examination centres established at overseas institutions, papers will begin according to the synchronised timings already communicated by the board.
FBISE has also prohibited students from bringing mobile phones and smartwatches into examination centres.
Students should carefully check their subject names, paper codes and examination dates to avoid confusion between Part I and Part II papers.
Candidates can download the complete HSSC second annual examination date sheet from the official FBISE website.
