The met agency says Saturday's weather in Mallorca will be unsettled but with only northern areas likely to see rain. Storm Austen has affected the mainland, but mostly just the northwest of the mainland. There is an alert for high wind in parts of Catalonia on Saturday, but nothing for the Balearics, the warnings still mainly confined to the northwest of Spain.
The probability of rain, if there is any, is highest on Saturday morning. Weather stations suggest the interior of the island could get some as well as the north. There will be sunny spells, with the best of conditions therefore expected in the south. Temperatures in general will fall, but will rise again on Sunday. The outlook into the start of next week is currently good.
