The Trey Hendrickson revenge narratives are alive and well this week as the Cincinnati Bengals get ready to take on the Baltimore Ravens.
Just ask Hendrickson’s Ravens teammates.
In the first media sessions of Week 7, multiple Ravens players brought up Hendrickson’s first crack at the Bengals.
Veteran Calais Campbell noted that he’s going to do whatever it takes to open things up so Hendrickson can have a big game.
Campbell said the following, courtesy of Sam Cohn of the Baltimore Sun: "I would like for him to be able to have a day where [the Bengals] miss him. ... If it was me, I'd want to me them regret it."
Ravens linebacker Trenton Simpson took it a step further, outright predicting a multi-sack game for Hendrickson, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN:

It’s all pretty mild so far. It’s also probably a little perplexing for Bengals fans considering the good years the club and Hendrickson had together. Those, before the weird split marked by weirder contract standoffs that seemed perfectly avoidable.
Alas, Hendrickson choosing to go to a rival in the AFC North and this revenge framing coming out of Baltimore won’t exactly have Bengals fans feeling nostalgic on Sunday as they watch and hope he stays away from Joe Burrow.
