The PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council has created a new Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management and reshuffled the leadership of its youth and women mobilisation directorates ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Under the new arrangement, Dr Farouk Adamu Aliyu has been appointed Director of Stage Organisation and Management, with former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Adejare Bello, as Co-Director.
The council also appointed Ayo Olawande as Director of Youth Mobilisation, with Dr Dayo Israel as Deputy Director.
For the Women Mobilisation Directorate, Dr Mary Aille Idele will serve as Director, while Dr Betta Edu has been appointed Deputy Director and Hon Imaan Suleman as Secretary.
The changes were announced in a statement signed by the council’s Secretary, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, following the inauguration of the presidential campaign council.
According to the statement, the adjustments are aimed at strengthening the council’s organisational structure, improving coordination and enhancing operational efficiency ahead of the 2027 election.
The council said the appointments reflected its commitment to building an inclusive and results-driven campaign structure capable of mobilising Nigerians, particularly women and young people, in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
It urged the appointees to work with other directorates and campaign structures to ensure effective implementation of mobilisation strategies as preparations for the election intensify.
