AS Monaco don’t have any fresh absences to contend with when they host SC Freiburg in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
Eric Dier and Stanis Idumbo both missed the loss to FC Lorient over the weekend. The pair have – as was expected – not recovered in time to face Freiburg on Thursday.
The Principality club are also without Folarin Balogun, who is ineligible in this competition, having not been included in the squad list. Despite a tough game against Lille OSC coming up over the weekend, Filipe Luís has said that he isn’t looking to rotate his side in view of the upcoming Ligue 1 fixture.
“We will just think about this one. We have to try and win tomorrow. That is the main goal,” said the Monaco manager in a press conference attended by Get French Football News. Like Les Monégasques, Freiburg conceded their first defeat of the season over the weekend. Both will be looking to bounce back.
