One was an iconic Bond girl, the other was a handsome soap star... but their on-screen romance made TV gold in Wild West saga Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman.
The beloved Western series is back on UK screens for the first time in a decade – and more than 30 years since the stars first rode into Colorado Springs.
It made a Hollywood heart-throb out of a rugged frontiersman played by Joe Lando and turned Jane Seymour into one of television's best-loved leading ladies.
The hit series started on Monday on Great TV – Freeview channel 34 – with a double-bill airing at 10am throughout the week. It will also be available to stream on the Great Player.
Jane, now 75, starred as Dr Michaela 'Mike' Quinn, a Boston physician who heads west to set up her own practice in the 1860s frontier town of Colorado Springs.
Her name was already known to 007 fans after her role as the tarot card-reading clairvoyant Solitaire in Roger Moore's first outing as Bond in the 1973 fan favourite Live and Let Die.

She came tenth in IGN's Top 10 Bond Babes review of 007 leading ladies in 2006.
But life in the Wild West proved anything but simple for Seymour's Dr Quinn, who battled sexism, fell for mountain man Byron Sully and adopted three orphaned children.
Viewers will recall the chemistry between the two lead stars, with the brooding Lando being named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in 1993.
The show originally ran on CBS from 1993 to 1998 and was one of the most successful Westerns to air on US network television, long before the likes of Deadwood and Yellowstone brought cowboys back to the small screen.
It picked up four Primetime Emmy wins during its run, but its abrupt cancellation left fans furious, with more than 100,000 letters of protest flooding in.
Ex-CBS boss Leslie Moonves later admitted he received more calls, letters, faxes and emails after axeing Dr Quinn than the total of complaints from all his cancelled shows combined.
Jane herself said the outpouring of support had been 'unbelievable', with fans telling her the show's departure had left a void in their lives.
Two TV movies followed in 1999 and 2001 to give viewers the proper farewell they demanded.
Great TV's marketing director Kate Gartland said: '100,000 fans can't be wrong! Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman is a 90s TV classic.
'With a big-hearted story, fantastic cast and a heroine who was ahead of her time, it's the perfect show for anyone who loves great storytelling and some Wild West adventure.
'Our Great viewers have loved following the exploits of the Ingalls Family in Little House on the Prairie, so we're absolutely thrilled to bring another frontier classic back to UK screens.'
So, more than 30 years on, where are the residents of Colorado Springs now?

Born Joyce Frankenberg in England in 1951, Jane first found fame as Bond girl Solitaire in the 1973 classic Live and Let Die.
She had enjoyed a long career in film and TV – including as Princess Farah in Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger in 1977 – before landing the role of Dr Quinn, reportedly in desperate need of work at the time.
Jane has since recalled telling her agent she would do anything, with the script arriving shortly afterwards.
Since the series concluded she has appeared in Wedding Crashers, The War with Grandpa and Friendsgiving.
And, she has since reunited with Joe in the fifth series of Acorn TV's cosy mystery Harry Wild, in which she plays a retired professor turned amateur sleuth.
A two-time Golden Globe winner and Emmy winner, Jane has also written several books, including Among Angels.
She has been married and divorced four times and welcomed four children – daughter Katherine, 44, son Sean, nearly 40, and twin sons John & Kristopher, 30 – during her marriages to James Keach and David Flynn.
She also fell in love with Superman star Christopher Reeve while they worked on Somewhere in Time together in 1979.
In 2018 and at the age of 67 she posed for Playboy for the third time, becoming the oldest woman to be pictured for the magazine.
In the same year, her Malibu home was nearly destroyed by wildfires but was saved thanks to her 'devoted gardener'.
Jane got engaged in June this year after a proposal from musician John Zambetti, whom she has dated since 2023.
'It was actually Valentine's Day, the day before her birthday. I thought, "This is insane. I'm just gonna do it",' Zambetti told People back in June.
'I got down on my knees, the whole thing. I had the ring hidden in the safe, pulled out the ring. I opened the box, and the ring popped out of the box, onto the bed.
'Then I had to climb under the bed, and then I couldn't get out, and she had to get out of the bed and pull me out of the bed.'
The former Bond Girl added: 'And we weren't wearing any clothes.'
'For us, the most important thing, it's about us and about our families,' Jane said of the ceremony.

It was quite the journey for the Chicago-born actor, who spent years working as a chef and movie caterer after moving to Los Angeles.
He even served as a pizza consultant on the 1990 comedy I Love You to Death before landing his big break.
Series creator Beth Sullivan said at the time of the show's original airing that Joe had 'incredible charisma', combining sincerity with 'sexy charm'. Fans agreed.
In a 1993 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Joe revealed his fan mail had soared since the January premiere, though he was rarely recognised out of costume without the buckskin, makeup and long locks.
He did almost all his own stunts on the show, including eating worms and running on top of a moving train, admitting these were things he would probably never get the chance to do again.
When the series ended, Joe finally cut off his famous hair, a move that opened the door to a wider range of roles.
'You can't play a banker and have long hair,' he told Chicago Parent.
He has since led the short-lived series Higher Ground, which he also executive produced. His other TV credits include Guiding Light and The Bold and the Beautiful, which he joined in 2018.

Speaking to People, Jane revealed that the pair were both single when they filmed the pilot and briefly tried a real-life romance, only to find it did not work. 'We quickly found out we didn't,' she said.
They are now firm friends. 'We're kind of like an old married couple,' Joe said, while Jane added: 'We actually can finish one another's sentences.'
Joe has been married to Kirsten Barlow since 1997 and the couple have four children.
Matthew Cooper – Chad Allen, 52

Ironically, he only signed on for the pilot to earn money for college and never expected the series to be picked up. It went on to run for six years.
After Dr Quinn, he continued to act, landing a stint on ER, as well as the films Third Man Out and Save Me.
Back in 1996 when he was just 21, Chad was outed as gay by US tabloid The Globe when they published snaps of him kissing another man in a hot tub at a party.
He went on to become a prominent LGBTQ+ activist, appearing on the cover of The Advocate three times.
He also co-founded the production company Mythgarden, which focuses on stories exploring social issues.
Chad dated his partner Jeremy Glazer for four years until their split in 2015.
That year Chad also said goodbye to the acting world as he confirmed in a YouTube video that he had quit showbiz to instead become a clinical psychologist after graduating from the University of California with a degree in psychology.
Five years later he also graduated from the Psy.D. programme in clinical psychology at Antioch University New England.

He had previously appeared in films including RoboCop and shows such as Quantum Leap.
He later starred in California in 1997, an unreleased pilot for a Dr Quinn spin-off series that was never taken forward.
Stepping behind the camera, William co-founded the Los Angeles and Austin-based production outfit Tiki Tane Pictures alongside partners Allen Gilmer and Tom Brady.
Under this banner, he wrote, produced and directed Long Shadows, a 2025 Western thriller starring Dermot Mulroney and Jacqueline Bisset.
He also served as an executive producer on the sci-fi drama The Assessment, which boasts a star-studded cast including Elizabeth Olsen and Alicia Vikander.
William is married to fellow filmmaker and content creator Tiiu Loigu – the pair have been together for 14 years.
