Korean rapper Yang Hong Won is facing cheating allegations just five days after marrying his longtime partner, model Won Hyun Joo.
The controversy began when a person identified as A made a series of claims on social media, alleging that the rapper had visited a motel with another woman shortly after his wedding.
A posted a claim on social media that read, “A newlywed groom just went to a motel with a woman.”
The accuser also shared the face and social media account of a woman allegedly involved, along with screenshots of direct messages reportedly sent to Yang Hong Won’s wife, Won Hyun Joo.
On October 23, A went live on Instagram and explained the reasons for making the allegations public. During the broadcast, they openly admitted that money and attention were part of the motivation.

A later shared an audio recording of a phone conversation with Yang Hong Won, as well as a video allegedly filmed during a visit to Suwon.
In the released audio, A reportedly asked the rapper for money. Yang Hong Won allegedly responded with a sigh before saying, “Don’t do anything bad. Did you come to your older brother’s wedding?”
The recordings and other materials have added to the online discussion surrounding the allegations. However, the context of the “evidence” and A’s claims have not been confirmed.
A’s admission that money and attention are among the reasons for making the allegations public has also led some people to question the accuser’s credibility.
