The Tinubu-Uba Sani Support Organisation (TUSO) Christian stakeholders have vowed to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Kaduna state governor, Senator Uba Sani during the 2027 general elections.
The group made the resolution after a stakeholders’ meeting in Ikara, Kaduna state on Saturday, October 10, 2026, attended by the leadership of the Kaduna chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), comprising chairmen of CAN from the 9 local government areas from the northern part of the state.
Others included Southern Kaduna Leadership Elders’ Council (SKLC), Chairman of the 63 Community Development Associations (CDAs), the Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna state House of Assembly, Counsellor (Political) to Kaduna state governor, and Professor Dauda Ishaya.
In a communiqué signed by the convener and chairman, Kachia LGA, Hon. Dr Manzo Daniel Maigari, and Director-General, TUSO, Hon. Matthew Kaku, participants resolved to work in unity to ensure the two leaders secure landslide victories during the forthcoming elections.
The meeting agreed to go beyond Kaduna state to form a national body for the entire 19 Northern states to identify with the objectives of standing up for the Christians and creating a solid platform for engendering effective participation at ensuring inclusive political outcomes.
Specifically the group lauded the performance profiles of President Tinubu and governor Uba Sani, praising the nomination of a Christian deputy governorship candidate and the establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences (FUAS) Kachia as well as the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Kafanchan.
“The stakeholders therefore resolved to mobilise Christians from all over the Northern States, especially the North-West, in terms of voting capacity for both President Tinubu and Governor Sani for the victory of APC presidential flag bearer and Kaduna state APC governorship candidate for the 2027 polls,” the communiqué stated.
