KUALA LUMPUR: LLØØPP, a brand-new audiovisual format created by Dutch-American artist and composer 0010x0010 (Ray Tijssen), has launched at REXPERIENCE (RXP.KL), the immersive digital art gallery inside REXKL.
Produced by SQNXR and presented alongside Jazzy Group, the showcase marks the format's very first residency.
Rather than running as a standard exhibition, LLØØPP gives a single room three distinct personalities throughout the day.
Its three programmes—MORNING, DUSK, and DANCE—each pair an original 10-minute musical score with generative visual art created from that exact music.
As the music plays, the visuals loop continuously around the room.
This creates a space that completely changes its mood without changing its physical structure: transforming from a place to breathe and stretch, to a place to eat and talk, and finally into a place to dance.
The official launch on Nov 7 will showcase all three experiences in a single day.
MORNING presents afternoon yoga and meditation, while DUSK features early-evening dining with a specially curated menu.
DANCE is a late-night electronic music session featuring a live performance by 0010x0010.
Because each programme runs on a continuous loop, visitors can enjoy a single cycle or stay through multiple loops during their booked session.
"A room can hold different energies without changing its architecture," said 0010x0010 in a statement yesterday.
"With LLØØPP I compose the music and the visual world together, so each programme changes how the space feels and how people use it. You can return to the same room and find a different experience."
Designed for long-term use in immersive venues, cultural hubs, and hospitality spaces, the format gives audiences a fresh reason to keep coming back.
"Kuala Lumpur audiences move between wellness, food and nightlife in a single evening, and REXKL is where those worlds already meet," said Jazzy Group CEO Joanne Goh.
"LLØØPP lets one room serve all three. It is the natural home for the format's first residency."
