A strong sporting weekend with Sunday's Palma Marathon topping the list of events. Tennis, cycling, triathlon are other sports represented. The final Llucmajor fair and the first day of the Campos fair show off Mallorca's rural traditions; there are also fairs in Algaida and Puerto Andratx. The Palma procession for La Beata, Santa Catalina Thomàs, which is similar to the triumphal carriage in Valldemossa at the end of July, is on Saturday.
