Expect Rockstar to go radio silent again as it shares one last trailer for GTA 6 and a new single by Justice that will appear in the game.
It’s a common joke that Rockstar doesn’t need to advertise GTA 6, as evidenced by its ‘unprecedented’ pre-order figures before any tangible gameplay had ever been shown.
After a very long stretch of silence, Rockstar finally lifted the lid on GTA 6 via the Netflix showcase in August, and select interviews, revealing just how realistic the game aims to be.
Rockstar may now return to being customarily tight-lipped, though, as it has dropped what it bills as GTA 6’s launch trailer, which suggests no further official footage will be shared until the game is out.
The trailer is not dissimilar to the first two, keeping things brief as it shows a mix of cut scenes and gameplay. As usual, the quality of the graphics and camera work make it hard to discern where cut scenes end and gameplay begins.
At the very least, there are hints of Jason and Lucia’s escalating crime spree. Near the end, you see something large and metallic (a bank vault perhaps?) being carried in a helicopter net and swerving to smash into the side of a building.

There are also a couple of teases of a steamy shower scene between Jason and Lucia, which will likely be more explicit in the final game. Rockstar has already confirmed there will be nudity and the more recent leaks have shown it can happen during gameplay as well as cut scenes.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the trailer is that you get to hear a snippet of a new song by electronic music duo Justice, titled Flower In A Hurricane, although the full song is already available on music services like Spotify and Apple Music.
This will be one of several original songs featured in the game, as well as on the official soundtrack, which launches alongside GTA 6 on November 19 and has new singles by Travis Scott and Keith Richards.
In related news, it’s recently been discovered that, despite theories to the contrary, GTA 6 will be eligible for voting at this year’s The Game Awards.
There were suspicions that it would launch too late to meet the cut-off date, but The Game Awards’ website notes that any games that are commercially available by November 20 are eligible. GTA 6 launches November 19, so it just barely makes it in.
How to pre-order GTA 6
If you’ve yet to pre-order GTA 6, both the standard and Ultimate editions of the game are available via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. The standard version costs £69.99 and the Ultimate edition is £89.99.
As a reminder, GTA 6 will not see a physical release on a disc. You can purchase a physical box from Rockstar’s website, but it only includes a download code.
There is also a separate collector’s edition that contains exclusive merchandise, but it costs £350 and doesn’t include the game itself.
A PC version is apparently aiming to launch in early 2027, but neither Rockstar nor publisher Take-Two Interactive have formally announced such a version.
