As one of the players who was part of the Philadelphia 76ers from the 2025-26 season, Jabari Walker has a unique perspective on seeing the old team and comparing it to the current roster.
The 2026 offseason was a big shift for the 76ers because they acquired Jaylen Brown in a trade with the Boston Celtics, and they also signed LeBron James. With those moves came even more players, so the 76ers' locker room has undergone a big change. However, it seems LeBron's leadership might be the biggest one.
Jabari Walker speaks on LeBron James' impact as a leader for the 76ers
As the longest-tenured player in NBA history, James has earned everyone's respect. With that kind of experience, it is easy to listen to what he says during locker room meetings, and it seems that has resonated with the 76ers.
Players like Walker, who watched James growing up and played against him in the NBA, already have respect for the King. However, it has gotten even better for Walker because he has a closer look at James' impact on his teammates.

Walker has played with plenty of stars in his career like Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Damian Lillard. However, it seems that LeBron's leadership is still a special sight to behold.
"The leadership, I didn't realize he was so vocal. When he talks, you just want to be quiet and just listen. It always makes sense. He's not talking just to talk. He's very direct, very meaningful, very impactful. He just commands a room," Walker said about James' leadership in the locker room.
It is easy to see why players respect James because he is a fantastic player on the court, but he is also one of the smartest players ever. Picking his brain about basketball unearths a treasure trove of insight, which is what younger players like Walker love learning from.
