The Milwaukee Bucks host the Chicago Bulls for their last preseason game at Fiserv Forum on Oct. 14. The Bucks (1-2) conclude their exhibition schedule in Indiana on Oct. 16. The Bulls (1-2) will return to for the Bucks’ regular season home opener Oct. 23.

The Bucks are in the very early stages of a culture reset, and they have struggled on both ends of the floor through the first three gamesof the preseason as coach Taylor Jenkins has worked in 13-14 players per game. Milwaukee has shot just 38.5% from the field overall on offense (30^th in the league) and allowed its opponents to shoot 46%.

Chicago is headlined by No. 4 pick Caleb Wilson, who has shined so far in the preseason. The 6-foot-10 forward scored 17 points and had five assists in 25 minutes against Denver on Oct. 11.

Nate Ament injury update

The team hopes rookie Nate Ament, who sprained his left ankle in Oklahoma City on Oct. 7, can be available for the season opener in Washington on Oct. 21.

“Progressing,” Jenkins said after practice Oct. 13. “A little bit more movement in the half court but definitely kind of constrained there but making some positive progress right now.

“Still ‘TBD.’ He’s on track, making progress. Obviously we’re doing everything possible, he’s doing everything possible to hopefully be available for opening night, but I think we’ll have a better indication once we get through this week and we get through the weekend and what that final ramp up looks like Monday, Tuesday [Oct. 19-20] next week.

"Our goal obviously is to have him available, but currently, right now, it’s going well and we’ll see how he responds day-to-day.”
