Minister for Roads, Buildings, Infrastructure and Investment, B.C. Janardhan Reddy on Monday announced that ₹300 crore has been sanctioned for road development works for the Godavari Pushkarams-2027.
In a review meeting with the Roads and Buildings Department officials here on Monday, Mr. Reddy claimed that all the proposed roads would be laid before the commencement of the Godavari Pushkarams.
Officials from the Roads and Buildings and Revenue Departments have formed a special task force, and it will be deployed to settle the hurdles in land acquisition for the roads proposed for the Godavari Pushkarams. The officials have been told to speed up the Kakinada-Samarlakota ADB road and Kakinada-Rajamahendravaram roads.
