On Saturday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide suffered a shocking result at Tennessee, a 26-10 loss that might have a case to be made as one of the worst overall performances we have seen in recent years.
The Crimson Tide simply struggled to get anything going offensively during the loss, and were eventually outgained by Tennessee in total yardage, 347-201. Alabama also had four offensive turnovers, and were held to only 3-of-16 on third and fourth downs.
Despite all the struggles, were there any positives to take away for the Crimson Tide though?
Here is this week's Alabama football stock report, which takes a look at three players who are now trending up after their performance in Saturday's loss to Tennessee, as well as what that included.
Yhonzae Pierre, Outside Linebacker
Pierre had one of his most impressive performances of the season Saturday from a statistics perspective where he finished with six total tackles, two of which were solo. The senior also had one sack, one TFL, and a pass defense, with this game marking the second consecutive game that Pierre has at-least one sack.
Luke Metz, Inside Linebacker
Metz also had a solid showing Saturday at Tennessee by finishing with seven total tackles and a fumble recovery. Each of the inside linebacker's tackles were solo stops, which is a new season-high for Metz.
Marshall Pritchett, Tight End
The final spot goes to Pritchett, who ended the game with a team-high six receptions for 39 yards. Pritchett's six receptions are a new season-high, tripling his previous total of two.
