Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo has a simple pitch for public companies: more liquidity and more investors.
He argues that tokenized trading delivers both, and that listed firms will want in.
What Domingo is selling
Domingo framed the case around practical gains rather than blockchain theory. His focus was on increased liquidity, broader global investor access, and stronger shareholder engagement.
“Nobody publicly traded will say no.”
Domingo deliberately kept the message accessible. The goal, according to the research on his remarks, was to modernize traditional capital market infrastructure without burying the audience in technical detail.
The platform behind the pitch
Securitize Stocks lets users trade tokenized versions of major US equities on the Solana blockchain. The launch covered 12 US stocks at the start, including Apple, Nvidia, and Tesla.
Jump Trading is backing the platform as a liquidity provider.
Securitize also plans future trading venues, including NYSE Digital ATS.
Securitize is working to grow its tradable tokenized stock inventory from the initial 12 toward a target of 75 by the end of the year.
A tokenization company that went public the old-fashioned way
Securitize became a listed company on the NYSE under the ticker SECZ on July 2, 2026, through a SPAC merger valued at approximately $1.25 billion.
Securitize reported that its tokenized assets under management surpassed $5 billion in the third quarter of 2026.
That growth came alongside a record month for tokenized equity trading. Volume hit $15.6 billion in September 2026.
How Wall Street is reading it
StoneX raised its price target on SECZ by 50% to $18.
StoneX also projected that Securitize’s revenue could approach $200 million by 2028.
The research points to potential new revenue streams from trading and servicing fees tied to Securitize’s tokenized products.
What this means for companies and investors
Compliance is a key pillar. Securitize says its vision involves regulated tokenized equities that preserve shareholder rights, not loose synthetic exposure with unclear legal standing.
For SECZ investors, the near-term scorecard is fairly clear. Watch whether the stock list grows from 12 toward 75, whether NYSE Digital ATS and other venues come online, and whether trading and servicing fees show up in reported revenue.
