We’ve discovered overnight spa stay at gorgeous Yorkshire country house hotel for under £55 per person

We all have someone in our lives who deserves a break from the everyday grind and would benefit from a spa break to relax and unwind.

With this in mind, we have found a bargain on deals site Wowcher for a spa stay at a four-star hotel in a beautiful part of Yorkshire. Down to £109 for most dates over the next two months, that means just £54.50 each for a trip to the lovely Parsonage Country House Hotel and Spa, in the beautiful village of Escrick, in North Yorkshire.

The Wowcher deal includes a night’s accommodation in a double or twin room, full access to the hotel’s Cloisters Spa and leisure facilities, a 20% discount on pre-booked spa treatments and late midday checkout.

The deal is valid for stays on selected dates with availability from Sunday, October 18, to Friday, October 23; for multiple dates in November, and for much of December as well as plenty of dates in January and February.

A luxury spa break at the four-star hotel could be a pre-Christmas treat for a friend, partner or family member or a great present for those who are tricky to buy for as any vouchers are valid until March 2027.

Alternatively, there are deals available via the Red Letter Days website where there are currently deals on Bannatyne spa days, including locations in Barnsley, Wakefield and York.

Back to the Parsonage Country House Hotel and Spa, which has picked up some glowing recommendations from people who have bought the Wowcher spa-stay deal.

One five-star review reads: “All staff really friendly, check-in great, spa and staff great, lively hotel well worth the money.”

A visitor who stayed at the hotel during a quiet period knocked a star off their review, saying: “Gorgeous hotel but lacking people but maybe it was the wrong time of year. Beautiful, clean and smelt gorgeous everywhere. Spa and pool are excellent, staff lovely. Breakfast excellent. We would visit again, thanks.”
