The dua Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) frequently recited

The human heart can change under the influence of temptation, desires, doubts and worldly attractions. Muslims are therefore encouraged to seek Almighty Allah’s help to remain steadfast in faith until the end of their lives.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught his followers a special supplication for steadfastness in faith and frequently recited it himself.

According to a hadith narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), when she was asked which supplication the Prophet recited most often, she cited the following prayer:

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

Meaning: “O Turner of hearts, keep my heart steadfast upon Your religion.” (Jami at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 3522)

The prayer highlights the importance of seeking Allah’s guidance and remaining firm in faith amid life’s changing circumstances.
