Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor shared a warm reunion at the IIFA 2027 press conference in Mumbai on October 22. The former co-stars exchanged hugs on the red carpet, drawing attention from fans and entertainment watchers. Their friendly interaction also revived memories of their past relationship and successful on-screen partnership.
The actors dated during the 2000s and appeared together in films including Fida, Chup Chup Ke and Jab We Met. Although audiences admired their chemistry, the pair separated before filming Jab We Met. Their latest meeting also recalled a similar interaction at the previous year’s IIFA press conference.

Kareena, who is married to Saif Ali Khan, attended the event in an all-black outfit paired with stylish sunglasses. Shahid, who married Mira Rajput, opted for a classic white suit. Kareena and Saif have two sons, while Shahid and Mira have a son and a daughter.
Several other Bollywood celebrities attended the press conference, including Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Rashmika Mandanna, Abhishek Banerjee, Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi. The gathering offered a preview of the star power expected at the upcoming awards ceremony. Ananya Panday is also set to host the event alongside Varun Dhawan.

The IIFA 2027 ceremony will take place in Abu Dhabi in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi and Miral. Karan Johar and Manish Paul are also expected to appear, while Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are scheduled to perform. Rashmika Mandanna will make her IIFA debut with a live performance, marking another highlight of the event.
