Three world titles will be on the line in Texas as 130-pound world champions O'Shaquie Foster and Emanuel Navarrete clash in a unification bout at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
Widely regarded as the division's top two fighters, the victor will emerge as the man to beat at junior lightweight, just one title shy of becoming the division's first undisputed champion in the four-belt era.
"I’m very happy that this fight came together," Navarrete said at the opening press conference. "I’m training very well and working hard on figuring out what this fight is going to require. We know what Foster represents. We know he’s a very skilled fighter with a lot of weapons in his boxing repertoire and that’s what we’re preparing for."
Here's a breakdown of what's to come as Foster and Navarrete clash in a junior lightweight title unification on Oct. 24.
O'Shaquie Foster record
O'Shaquie Foster is 25-3 with 12 wins by knockout.
He's twice held the WBC junior lightweight title, most recently since 2024, with a total of three successful title defenses.

Emanuel Navarrete record
Emanuel Navarrete is 40-2-1 with 33 wins by knockout.
Navarrete has claimed titles across three weight classes, holding the WBO junior lightweight title since 2023 and the IBF title since this past February.
Who did O'Shaquie Foster lose to, including controversial loss to Robson Conceicao?
Foster has suffered three losses in his career, most recently in July 2024 against Robson Conceicao.
On that night, Foster looked to have secured a relatively comfortable decision victory in defense of his title when the judges' scorecards were read, instead revealing a highly controversial split decision victory for Conceicao. The pair would rematch four months later, with Foster claiming the split decision win to reclaim his title.
His previous two losses came via decision to non-descript opponents early in his career, first in 2015 and then again the following year.
Who did Emanuel Navarrete lose to?
Navarrete has twice been defeated in his career, while also fighting to a draw. He's never been defeated at junior welterweight though.
His first loss came in 2012, just five months into his professional career, falling by unanimous decision in a four-round bout against a then-unbeaten opponent. He didn't suffer another blemish to his record until 2023, when like Foster, he was stifled by Robson Conceicao, fighting to a majority draw in a 130-pound title defense.
His next fight after the draw, Navarrete moved up to lightweight to vie for the vacant WBO title and fell by split decision to Denys Berinchyk.

O'Shaquie Foster vs Emanuel Navarrete: Comparing boxing styles
The three titles on the line are just a cherry on top of what should be an intriguing clash of styles in the ring.
Foster is a pure boxer, working behind a pinpoint jab with stringent defense, allowing his opponents to connect on just 20.2% of punches thrown his way. Navarrete is a stylistic enigma, making him a nightmare to prepare against. He throws punches from awkward and unexpected positions, often landing from angles few fighters would attempt to throw from.
Foster must tame Navarrete's more aggressive offensive output, slowing the fight down to his pace while working from distance. Navarrete's best path to victory is on the inside, where he can rough up Foster and potentially catch him with a knockout punch.
O'Shaquie Foster vs Emanuel Navarrete: Who holds height advantage?
Foster and Navarrete match up almost identically in terms of frame. They each have a 72-inch reach, with Foster holding a narrow height advantage standing at 5-foot-8½, while Navarrete measures in at 5-foot-7.
O'Shaquie Foster vs Emanuel Navarrete: Weight classes
While both Foster and Navarrete need to weigh in below the division's 130-pound limit on Oct. 23, Navarrete may ultimately enter the ring as the larger man.
Historically the three-division world champion has struggled making the junior lightweight division's 130-pound limit, but working with a nutritionist ahead of his last bout, he weighed in at 129¼ pounds. Still, having fought as heavy as lightweight, Navarrete will likely pack a few more pounds on fight night.
Foster has weighed right on the division's 130-pound limit ahead of his last five fights.
