The Buffalo City Municipality has closed Nahoon Beach after a shark sighting.
The City released a statement on Saturday stating the beach's temporary closure.
"As a precautionary measure, all bathers and beachgoers are strongly warned not to enter the water until further notice.
"The public is urged to adhere to all safety instructions and warnings issued by beach officials to ensure the safety of everyone," the municipality said.
The beach will only be reopened to bathers once the City can confirm it is safe to do so.
Meanwhile, the municipality has reopened the Orient and Eastern beaches following a fatal shark attack.
Janine Lochrenberg was killed in a shark attack at Orient Beach on the morning of Tuesday, October 20.
