The military actions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen are becoming increasingly fierce and affecting the vital facilities of Riyadh. At the same time, some international forces are only pushing the two countries to the escalation of their conflict, Al Mayadeen correspondent Abdullah al-Farah reported Monday.
"Saudi Arabia's airports are indeed shutting down. Meanwhile, certain forces and states are pushing the parties to escalate the situation rather than resolve it," al-Farah said.
It is noted that amid the intensification of the confrontation, the intensity of air strikes on Yemen is increasing. Fighting continues in the directions from Taiz to the western coast—in the area of the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, Marib, and Al-Jauf.
The adviser to the government's defense ministry in Sanaa, Abed al-Saur, said that the Yemeni side will continue to strike at the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh until Saudi Arabia stops its military operations.
"We will continue to strike at this airport and completely disable it until Saudi Arabia stops its crimes and recognizes the right of our people to live, the right to lift the blockade. Everything else, all these statements, do not interest us at all," the adviser said.
