Who's in, who's out? The New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers announced their inactive players for the NFL's first game in Paris. We'll kick off at 8:30 a.m. CT/3:30 p.m. CEST from the Stade de France. New Orleans is getting some help on defense with starting linebacker Kaden Elliss and veteran edge rusher Anfernee Jennings both returning from injuries. They're each highly regarded for their work in run defense, but Elliss was a big part of the team's pressure package in the first couple of weeks as a pass rusher before he suffered a calf injury. Now he's back after missing three games. Additionally, the team is without starting right guard Cesar Ruiz (knee), meaning rookie draft pick Jeremiah Wright will make his first career start.
Here's the list of players who will be watching this one from the sidelines:
New Orleans Saints inactive players
- OL Cesar Ruiz (injury)
- DL Nathan Shepherd (illness)
- DL John Ridgeway III
- S Mike Reid
- EDGE Tyree Wilson
- TE Treyton Welch
- QB Zach Wilson (emergency QB3)
Pittsburgh Steelers inactive players
- CB Brandin Echols (injury)
- WR Ben Skowronek (injury)
- TBD
