The 120-man field at the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship is now minus one.
Max Greyserman has withdrawn Friday just after the halfway point of his second round. The PGA Tour announced that he is done due to a back injury.
Greyserman opened with a 73 on Thursday and was 3 over through six holes Friday before going par-birdie-par-par, but after his 10th hole (the par-4 first, as he started on the back nine), Greyserman couldn't go on.
Sitting at 4 over when he WD'd, Greyserman was tied for 115th, a good seven shots off the projected cutline. This is his first WD of the season and third of his career.
Greyserman has made 15 of 26 cuts this season. His best finish is a tie for ninth at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. He's 99th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings. Only the top 100 secure 2027 PGA Tour cards.
