MrBeast builds 5 medical clinics across 4 countries to help 10,000 annually

YouTube star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is helping expand access to healthcare in underserved communities by supporting the establishment of five medical clinics across the United States and abroad.

In a video posted on Beast Philanthropy in April 2026, the content creator showcased the initiative undertaken with his team and nonprofit organisation BUILD to bring essential medical services closer to people who struggle to access them. The five clinics are located in the US, Nigeria, Ukraine and Kenya, with each facility designed to address a specific healthcare challenge. Built using shipping containers, the clinics aim to provide medical assistance in areas where healthcare infrastructure is limited, emergency services are difficult to access or specialised treatment remains out of reach for many families.

MrBeast helps establish first medical clinic in a remote Texas community

One of the clinics has been established in Chester, Texas, where residents have faced difficulties accessing emergency medical assistance. According to the video, two medical emergencies occurred at a local school during the year, with ambulances taking almost an hour to arrive. The new facility, described in the video as the first medical clinic in Chester, includes a telehealth centre where residents can consult doctors and seek guidance about their health concerns.

The clinic will be run by Timber, a local resident who grew up in the community and expressed a desire to help the people living there. The facility is expected to give residents a more accessible point of contact for medical assistance, particularly in a community where reaching healthcare providers can be challenging.

Nigeria clinic aims to help children access heart surgery

Another clinic has been sent to a hospital in Nigeria to help children access screening for open-heart surgery.

The video highlights the difficulties families face in obtaining specialised cardiac treatment, particularly when the cost of travelling abroad for surgery becomes a major financial burden. One person featured in the video said that the procedure could cost between $50,000 and $117,000 in the United States. The new facility is intended to help doctors screen more patients and improve access to potential treatment opportunities.According to the video, the clinic could serve an additional 2,000 people in the community over the course of a year, expanding the hospital's ability to identify patients who need specialised care.

Medical clinic deployed to Ukraine amid ongoing war

A third clinic has been deployed to communities near the front lines of the war in Ukraine, where the conflict has damaged hospitals and disrupted access to essential healthcare services. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Daar Foundation, with the aim of ensuring that local doctors have the supplies needed to assist residents.

The video also states that BUILD has four other active clinics across the war zone. The new facility is intended to support communities dealing with the consequences of the conflict, where damaged infrastructure and disrupted medical services have made access to healthcare increasingly difficult.

Kenya clinic to expand clubfoot treatment for children

In Kenya, another clinic will help children born with clubfoot, a condition that can affect their ability to walk if left untreated.

The facility is being established in a coastal community in Kilifi County, where families in rural areas can struggle to access specialised treatment. The project works with Hope Walks, an organisation that has been serving children in the area for 14 years. Before the new facility, the team had been treating patients from a single small room, limiting the number of children it could help each week.Clubfoot can often be treated without surgery through a process in which doctors gradually reposition the foot using a series of casts.

The new clinic is expected to expand the organisation's capacity and enable it to treat more children. The initiative also highlights the importance of early intervention, particularly in communities where children with disabilities and their families may face social stigma alongside the challenges of obtaining medical care.

Fifth clinic in Massachusetts to offer free health screenings

The fifth clinic has been sent to a housing village in Worcester, Massachusetts. It will provide free health, vision and dental screenings to residents, including children and grandparents.According to the April 2026 video, the facility is expected to serve more than 40 families every week, allowing residents to access essential screenings without having to pay for them. The clinic is part of the broader effort to make basic healthcare services more accessible to people who might otherwise struggle to obtain preventive care.

BUILD's healthcare initiatives aim to reach thousands

The Beast Philanthropy video explains that BUILD began in 2013 as a student-led initiative and has since deployed 60 clinics across 24 countries, impacting more than 200,000 people.Across the five clinics featured in the video, the team estimates that more than 10,000 people a year will be impacted. The video also states that over 2,500 people had already been reached by the time filming took place, with another 10,000 expected to benefit over the following year. The initiative has also received support from Neuro Gum. According to the video, the company created limited-edition tins, with proceeds going towards projects aimed at helping communities.By addressing different healthcare needs, from emergency access in rural Texas and cardiac screening in Nigeria to medical assistance in Ukraine, clubfoot treatment in Kenya and free screenings in Massachusetts, the project seeks to bring essential services closer to underserved populations.
