Following the ceremony, El Mansouri said her team would develop an ambitious programme to meet citizens’ expectations, guided by the King’s directives, according to a press release on the government’s formation.
The release described the new administration as combining experienced figures with new appointees, including women and young people, to broaden representation while maintaining continuity in public policy.
Its expected priorities include reducing regional inequalities, improving living conditions and strengthening social protection.
Gender equality, artificial intelligence, food sovereignty, innovation and social dialogue are also among the areas expected to shape the government’s programme.
According to the release, the administration will place emphasis on accountability, clearly defined ministerial responsibilities and measurable improvements in public-sector performance.
The government’s structure includes ministers delegated to sectoral ministries, rather than Secretariats of State, an arrangement intended to improve coordination and policy implementation.
The release also highlighted stronger political leadership and the inclusion of figures with established party affiliations as features of the new administration.
The government is expected to translate these priorities into a programme that addresses citizens’ concerns, with its performance measured by improvements in development, social justice and public services.
