The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP) has announced e-passport fees in Pakistan, with charges varying according to validity period, number of pages, and processing speed.
For a five-year e-passport, the normal fee is Rs. 9,000 for 36 pages and Rs. 16,500 for 72 pages. Applicants opting for urgent processing will pay Rs. 15,000 for a 36-page passport and Rs. 27,000 for a 72-page passport.
For passports with a 10-year validity period, the normal fee is Rs. 13,500 for 36 pages and Rs. 24,750 for 72 pages. Under urgent processing, the charges increase to Rs. 22,500 for 36 pages and Rs. 40,500 for 72 pages.
The fee structure allows applicants to choose between five-year and 10-year validity periods, as well as 36-page and 72-page options, depending on their travel requirements and budget.
