The All Progressives Congress (APC) Network Movement in Kogi State has called on members of the Audu/Faleke political family to work through the party’s established structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group’s coordinator, Ogungbemi Olusola, made the appeal in a statement, stressing the importance of cooperation among party members as preparations for the elections gather momentum.
Olusola urged Hon. James Faleke and other party stakeholders to encourage dialogue and strengthen relationships among APC members in the state.
“We are calling on Hon. James Faleke to ensure these individuals do not drag his name in the mud, especially after the immense sacrifices he has made for the party in Kogi State,” Olusola said.
The coordinator also expressed confidence in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 elections, saying the party had established structures to support its candidates.
“The APC is firmly entrenched on the ground and has put robust structures in place to secure maximum victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our candidates,” he said.
The group called for greater cooperation among political stakeholders across Kogi East, Kogi West and Kogi Central, urging members to prioritise dialogue and the party’s collective interests.
It also appealed to members of the Audu/Faleke political family to uphold the political legacy of the late Prince Abubakar Audu, a founding member of the APC.
“Prince Abubakar Audu was a committed founding member of the APC before his passing,” the statement read.
Olusola further urged party members with political ambitions to pursue their goals through recognised APC structures and participate in efforts to strengthen the party ahead of the elections.
The coordinator also acknowledged Faleke’s political activities in Lagos State, expressing hope that party members in Kogi would work towards similar cooperation.
“We can assure you that Chief Faleke is working hard to ensure an APC victory in Lagos State,” Olusola added.
The APC Network Movement urged party stakeholders to promote unity and constructive engagement as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.
