El Llorenç Parc de la Mar and El Vicenç de la Mar secure four accolades at the Beyond Luxury Awards and World Travel Awards 2026, highlighting the island’s strength in design, gastronomy and boutique hospitality. Mallorca’s luxury hotel sector has received a fresh boost on the international stage, with NYBAU Hotels’ El Llorenç Parc de la Mar and El Vicenç de la Mar securing four awards across two major hospitality ceremonies in 2026.
El Llorenç Parc de la Mar was recognised for its gastronomic offering at the Beyond Luxury Awards, winning Best Gastronomic Restaurant for DINS Santi Taura, as well as receiving the Spain’s Leading Design Hotel 2026 title at the World Travel Awards. Meanwhile, El Vicenç de la Mar collected two World Travel Awards, being named Spain’s Leading Beach Hotel and Spain’s Leading Boutique Hotel for 2026.
The accolades highlight Mallorca’s growing reputation as a luxury destination where architecture, gastronomy, cultural heritage and distinctive guest experiences play an increasingly important role in the island’s hospitality offering.
El Llorenç Parc de la Mar celebrates design and gastronomy
Located in Palma’s historic La Calatrava district, next to the city’s ancient walls and overlooking Palma Bay, El Llorenç Parc de la Mar draws inspiration from Mallorca’s Andalusian heritage. Its architectural identity combines historical influences with contemporary design, while its wider offering brings together high-end gastronomy and wellbeing.
The hotel’s gastronomic success centres on DINS Santi Taura, led by chef Santi Taura. The restaurant explores the culinary heritage of the Balearic Islands by revisiting traditional recipes, local ingredients and cooking techniques through a contemporary approach.
Awarded one Michelin star and two Repsol Suns, DINS offers a dining experience that connects guests with the history and culture of the archipelago. Its recognition as Best Gastronomic Restaurant at the Beyond Luxury Awards 2026 underlines the role of cuisine in shaping a hotel’s identity and communicating the character of its destination. The award also acknowledges the work of the kitchen and front-of-house teams, whose attention to detail contributes to an experience rooted in Mallorca’s culinary traditions.
The Beyond Luxury Awards ceremony took place on 15 October at Hotel de Mar Gran Meliá in Mallorca. The sixth edition brought together leading figures from Spain’s luxury hospitality industry, including general managers, chief executives and senior representatives of five-star and five-star Grand Luxury establishments. The jury selected the winners from an official shortlist of 60 nominated hotels, recognising projects that combine excellence and individuality with authenticity, craftsmanship, a strong sense of place and memorable guest experiences.
El Vicenç de la Mar wins two World Travel Awards
El Vicenç de la Mar, situated in Cala Sant Vicenç in the municipality of Pollensa, received two accolades at the World Travel Awards 2026: Spain’s Leading Beach Hotel and Spain’s Leading Boutique Hotel.
The property stands out for its Mediterranean setting, contemporary architecture and intimate approach to hospitality. Its offering combines Mallorcan-inspired cuisine, wellbeing and services designed for travellers seeking to explore the north of the island through authentic yet sophisticated experiences.
The double recognition reinforces the hotel’s position within Mallorca’s high-end accommodation market, highlighting the appeal of its coastal location and boutique character. The World Travel Awards ceremony took place in Montenegro on Saturday, bringing further international attention to the island’s luxury hospitality sector.
