Von Dutch and FlyQuest are giving gaming apparel a workwear makeover.
The Hollywood heritage brand and professional esports organization released “The Workman Collection” on Oct. 9, drawing on Von Dutch’s Kustom Kulture roots for a lineup of canvas jackets, a mechanic shirt, knitwear and graphic tees.
The collection takes its cues from craftsmanship, customization and experimentation.
“Built to Break is grounded in a simple idea: the most interesting people are shaped by the things they pursue—the risks they take, the worlds they move between and the challenges they choose to face,” the announcement states.
FlyQuest is aiming to reach shoppers beyond its existing fan base with clothing designed to fit into their everyday wardrobes.
The Crew Jacket anchors the range. Available in black and blue for $150, it is made from heavyweight, 100 percent cotton canvas with a light stone wash, full lining and corduroy collars and cuffs, according to FlyQuest’s product listings. The black version features contrast appliqué artwork, while the blue has chain-stitch embroidery and patch details. Both have custom branded zipper pulls.
The $90 Mechanic Shirt carries the workwear theme into a garment-washed cotton button-front style with screen-printed graphics. A $110 Distressed Waffle Zip adds texture through a cotton thermal exterior, jersey lining and a faded finish, with chain-stitch embroidery on the front and a screen-printed graphic on the back.
Two $40 T-shirts round out the apparel offering alongside the $95 Nitro Knit. The Fly Faster Tee uses heavyweight cotton jersey with a faded finish, while the Patch Tee receives a heavy enzyme wash. Von Dutch’s signature trucker hat returns in a $42 version with a mesh back and adjustable snapback closure.
Carlie Youngblood, who designed the partners’ first capsule, serves as creative director and apparel designer for the Workman Collection. Jericho Patrick directed and photographed the campaign.
The partnership began in September 2025 with “League Is Dead,” a capsule that combined Y2K styling with references to gaming culture through trucker hats, oversized T-shirts and sweaters. FlyQuest said last year’s collection sold out in less than 24 hours.
“Last year showed us that gaming doesn’t need to exist in its own separate category,” said Paul Cho, vice president of partnerships at FlyQuest. “The collection sold out because people connected with it beyond esports. Gaming is becoming part of the same cultural conversation as fashion, music and sport, and our work with Von Dutch is about continuing to push that forward. We want FlyQuest to mean something both inside the game and outside of it.”
The Workman Collection is available through FlyQuest and select channels, with prices ranging from $40 to $150.
