Residents in an Aberdeen suburb have been warned to remain vigilant following a series of break-ins and thefts from vehicles.
Police said 15 incidents have been reported in the Auchmill Road area of Bucksburn between September 10 and October 16.
Items stolen include electronic devices, clothing and power tools.
Detectives have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries and have been reviewing CCTV footage from in and around the area.
Detective Constable Andrew Yule said: “Following extensive enquiries to identify those involved, we are now appealing for the help of the public.
“I would ask that anyone who lives in the Auchmill Road area and has noticed any suspicious activity over the last month come forward and speak with officers.
“We would also ask local residents with private CCTV or dash-cam footage to review for any images that could assist our investigation.
“I would like to remind the public to ensure that their vehicles are secure at all times, not to leave any valuable items in your vehicle and to make sure keys are kept away from windows and doors. Thieves will use any opportunity to steal your possessions.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3242 of October 4, 2026.
Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
