During the ceremony, he distributed plot allotment letters to families of fallen police officers from Bannu, Lakki Marwat, and other districts of the province.
The governor stressed the need for greater support for the police, saying provincial development funds could also be used to meet the force’s needs.
He called for closer coordination among relevant institutions to develop an effective counterterrorism strategy and thanked the federal interior minister for his support, assuring that the federal government stood with the province.
