Yellow Card, a global stablecoin infrastructure provider operating in Nigeria, has won Gold in the Diamond category at the 2026 Money Awards, marking its second consecutive year of recognition as it expands its international operations.
The award was presented on October 18 in Las Vegas during Money20/20 USA, following the company’s Grand Prix victory in the Payments category in 2025. Money20/20 describes the Diamond category as its highest honour for transformative achievements in global fintech.
The recognition comes after a landmark year for Yellow Card, which secured $40 million in strategic funding, expanded across Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America, and obtained anti-money laundering regulatory affiliation in Switzerland.

The company also launched Global Accounts, enabling businesses to open named US dollar, British pound and euro accounts and connect to local payment systems in more than 190 countries through a single application programming interface or its Treasury Portal.
Yellow Card supports more than 50 currencies and provides infrastructure for banks, fintechs and multinational businesses to manage treasury operations and move money across borders. Its customers include Visa and Western Union.
Chris Maurice, chief executive officer and co-founder, said the company had expanded its ambitions beyond emerging markets and was now working with major corporate and financial institutions.
The company was also named to Fortune’s inaugural Crypto Innovators list in June 2026.
Its growth reflects increasing interest in stablecoins as tools for cross-border payments and corporate treasury management. However, its ability to sustain international expansion will depend on regulatory compliance, liquidity and adoption by businesses across different markets.
