The Buffalo Bills have centered their Super Bowl aspirations around quarterback Josh Allen. With a 5-1 record after Week 6 win, Buffalo is making progress toward meeting its high expectations this season. NFL insider Danny Parkins believes the team must continue putting its faith in its franchise quarterback if it hopes to accomplish its ultimate goal of winning a championship.
On First Things First, Parkins explained why the Bills must accept both the rewards and risks of building their offense around Allen.
“To live by the Josh, die by the Josh,” Parkins said. “That’s how it works. You’re gonna hope that he gets hot for 3 or 4 games in the playoffs and wins you a Super Bowl as the most talented player in football and yeah, you’re gonna live with some interceptions.”

Allen has played a crucial role in the Bills’ impressive start to the season. Through six games, he has recorded 1,504 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 66.7% of his attempts.
The Bills quarterback has also contributed 240 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns.
Allen’s latest outing against the Las Vegas Raiders provided another example of his influence on the team. He completed 23 of 33 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns, helping Buffalo secure a narrow 33-30 victory.
The quarterback’s ability to make exceptional plays and carry the offense gives the Bills a significant advantage, but that same approach can result in interceptions. Hence, Parkins thinks Buffalo must be willing to accept those risks and trust Allen to deliver a series of outstanding performances when the playoffs arrive.
Allen and Buffalo will next take on the Baltimore Ravens to continue their championship dream.
