The Series A2 round was led by existing investor Flintlock Capital and joined by Mouro Capital, Susquehanna Private Equity Investments, bringing total funding to nearly £50 million.
Founded in 2023, Hyperlayer says it transforms how, and how fast, banks can modernise without disrupting the core systems that support resilience and compliance. Its product innovation layer is designed to rapidly integrate above any existing tech stack for a faster way to launch new products and solve business challenges.
The new funding will be used to support growth across its product, engineering and implementation teams, as well as expansion activity across the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
“We're fortunate to be backed by deep experts in fintech. They've watched us go from a standing start to mandates with global Tier 1 banks in three years. That's what's convinced them to back where the company goes next," says Rob Rooney, CEO, Hyperlayer.
Meanwhile, the firm has shaken up its leadership team, with board director and COO Louise Chan becoming chief commercial officer, while current chief strategy officer Ben Helps moving to COO.
