Apple is gearing up to unveil more hardware products at its upcoming Pro and Tell event, which is set for next Wednesday, October 28, 2026. While official details are being kept under wraps, the expectation is that Apple will unveil a new crop of Pro-themed devices, including its first-ever MacBook Pro with a touchscreen OLED display.
One thing is for sure: Apple is making a splash with its new CEO John Ternus now leading the charge. Ternus replaced Tim Cook at the beginning of last month and, just days later, Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo, marking the company's long-awaited foray into the foldable smartphone market. Now the focus shifts to what comes next.

We don't have much in the way of first-hand clues, just a post on X by Apple's senior vice president of marketing, Greg Joswiak, who states he "can't wait to pro and tell next week." Apple's also been sending out invites to members of the press, which reveal that the event will take place in Los Angeles starting at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET).
What To Expect At Apple's Pro And Tell Event

The highlight of the upcoming event is going to be a new MacBook Pro model with an OLED display and touchscreen support, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. No previous MacBook model has utilized either technology. Meanwhile, it's said Apple will stick with its existing M5 Pro and M5 Max silicon rather than release Pro and Max versions of its M6 chip.
In addition, Gurman claims Apple will unveil a lower-end MacBook Pro powered by the company's custom M6 chip, as well as introduce a refreshed iMac and an upgraded iPad mini. Rumor has it the iPad mini will be the first iPad outside of the Pro lineup to also feature an OLED screen, though it's probably a bit ambitious to expect that it will also feature 120Hz ProMotion support.
All of this comes on the heels of Apple's Rise and Shine event, which in addition to the long-anticipated iPhone Duo, also saw the launch of the iPhone 18 series, new silicon (M6 built on 2nm and M5 Ultra), an upgraded Mac mini, AirPods 5, and new smartwatches (Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4).
More recently, Apple also expanded its smart home aspirations with the launch of its HomeView Smart Display, HomePod mini, and refreshed Apple TV 4K set-top box.
