The Australian actor-turned-singer, who has been dominating the competition, has been advised by doctors to rest after she sustained a painful rib injury during training.
Goodrem and partner Kai Widdrington will receive a bye through to next week “when it is hoped they will be able to dance again”, the BBC said.

It has now been reported that Goodrem injured herself whilst training last week for her Salsa, which saw her top the leaderboard for the second week in a row.
However, just hours later the 41-year-old ended up in A&E after struggling to sleep due to the pain, The Sun reports.
Insiders told the outlet that she was back in the hospital on Monday, October 12, where she was advised to rest and skip upcoming Icon’s Week.
She is now understood to be recovering at home with her husband, musician Matt Copley.

The news was announced via It Takes Two host Ellie Taylor, who read out a statement from Goodrem, who was supposed to portray Olivia Newton-John as her icon of choice.
”I'm absolutely gutted that a rib injury means I won't be able to dance on Strictly this week,” the statement began.
“I've been loving every second of this experience, so having to sit this one out is heartbreaking – especially after the high of Saturday night.
“I cannot tell you how much I love being a part of this magical show. I'm going to focus on resting and recovering, and hopefully I'll be back on that dancefloor very soon.
“Thank you so much to everyone for all the love and support. It's so appreciated. I'll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines this week! Sending all my love, Delta xx”
