Who Omar Courtz Is and Why This Show Matters
Omar Courtz is a reggaeton, trap and R&B singer from Puerto Rico, known to fans by the nickname “Ousi”. He was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, in 1997, according to La Estrella de Panamá.
His second album, “Por si mañana no estoy”, came out on Thursday 19 February 2026, the news agency EFE reported. It has 18 tracks, and Live Nation says it debuted at number three on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
Live Nation also says the album passed 1.04 billion streams. One of its songs, “Koko”, reached number one in Costa Rica, among other countries.
That local success explains why the Omar Courtz Costa Rica date matters to fans here. He has played the country before, at the Pedregal events centre in October 2025, Teletica reports.
This time the singer brings the “Por Si Mañana No Estoy World Tour” to Parque Viva. Diario Extra says the show is meant to carry the film-like concept of the album on stage.
The Latin American leg opens in Mexico City on Wednesday 28 October, according to the Mexican site LOS40. It continues through Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Argentina and Chile before ending in the Dominican Republic.
In the United States, the tour ran from Wednesday 19 August to Sunday 13 September, Live Nation says. Stops included Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday 9 September and Kaseya Center in Miami on Saturday 12 September.

The Venue and How to Get There
Parque Viva, home of the Omar Courtz Costa Rica show, is a large events complex in La Guácima, in Alajuela province. The Anfiteatro Imperial is its open-air stage, with room for up to 18,500 people, according to the venue’s own website.
Parque Viva says the site is about 18 minutes from Juan Santamaría International Airport, the main airport for the capital. It is also about 10 minutes from the national highway that links the capital region with the Central Pacific coast.
The complex has 3,900 parking spaces, and parking can be bought in advance on the site parqueate.cr. It has four separate entrances and a pedestrian drop-off and pick-up point.
The bus company Zúñiga e Hijos adds units on its regular route when big crowds are expected. TUASA, an Alajuela bus company, runs a signposted special route during major events.
Taxis and ride-hailing apps such as Uber can be registered in advance, and they usually have a special entrance. When needed, the venue also sets up satellite parking lots in San José with round-trip private buses.
Inside, Parque Viva lists 10 food trucks, 5 food concessions and 3 drink kiosks. It also lists more than 300 low-water toilet units.
The venue calls itself one of the most inclusive in the country and says it is designed for visitors with disabilities. It does not publish bag rules on its public pages, so check the Eticket event page before you travel.
