In a time where we’re seeing the prices of our favourite games and consoles go up and up, freebies feel even more special.
So, for you football fanatics out there, you might be happy to hear that Football Manager 27 will be free to play ahead of its launch, but only for a limited time.
To preview Football Manager 27 for free, you will first need a PC and access to Steam, Epic, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass. With so many platforms, it seems that everyone (except console users) can join in the fun.
And, to make the game even more accessible, there is no sign-up required - just simply download the game from your platform of choice to delve straight into the action.
The game will come with all game modes immediately available, and alongside this free play period fans can enjoy 10% if they pre-purchase the game in this window.
The window to play Football Manager 27 for free will officially start on 29 October at 6PM UK time and last until 3 November at 6PM (again, UK time).
However, if you pre-purchase the game, you can continue your preview period from 3 November until the game officially launches on 10 November. Those with game pass will be able to continue their preview through their respective subscriptions.
This also means that if you pre-purchase the game, the progress you made in the preview period will be saved and you won't have to start all over again when the game is officially released, so you don’t lose your save file!
This is a great way to try before you buy, and will surely have fans hyped to try out the new features in this latest instalment. However, if you prefer console, unfortunately this is an offer exclusive to PC only and you will have to wait.
Football Manager 27 launches on 10 November across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade.
